IPNA Evidence Review Team – Call for Volunteers

Dear IPNA Community,

IPNA Best Practices and Standards Committee invites volunteer applications for being a member of the Evidence Review Team (ERT). The ERT will facilitate evidence search, synthesis, assist in conducting and updating systemic review and meta-analysis, and formulating recommendations for the upcoming IPNA guidelines.

Pediatric nephrologists with the following attributes will be given preference:

1. Age below 45 years
2. Hands-on experience in conducting systemic review and meta-analysis (2 published articles on systematic review as first or corresponding author)
3. Training in GRADE methodology for guideline development (certificate of course completion)
4. Past experience in evidence review for clinical practice guidelines

Expected workload: Member is expected to work in a team for conducting systematic review, evidence synthesis and grading along with the Guideline working group. IPNA is usually working on 1-2 guidelines in 2 years.

The term of the volunteer will be for 5 years. The call is limited to IPNA members only.
