Answers

I forgot my username and password. How do I find it?

Member usernames are generally the full email address. Passwords are automatically generated by the system when an account is created. Please click here and enter your IPNA username to change your password. If you do not remember your username or password, please email our Office office@theipna.org for more information.

Where can I get my IPNA membership certificate?

We usually do not send out certificates automatically. If you want to obtain the certificate, please contact our Office by email office@theipna.org.

When can I renew my membership?

The IPNA membership is calendar-based membership, which means it starts by January the 1st and ends in December the 31st. You may renew your membership at the beginning of December, as soon as you receive the informative email from our Office, which says the renewal is open.

How long does it take the IPNA Office to answer my email?

Please note that our association administration is based in Czech Republic in Europe, based in the Central European Time (CET) time zone.  We will respond to your query within three business days.

When will I receive the membership confirmation?

After you create an IPNA membership account and process the payment for membership, you will receive a confirmation email within three business days.

Why am I not receiving any emails from IPNA?

IPNA sends email through our membership portal and newsletter platform, which occasionally may get blocked by your spam filter. Please check the spam/junk mail folder; if you find the email in there, please remove the IPNA email from your spam list to prevent other email being misdirected to the spam folder. If email is not in your spam filter, please contact our office.

I have retired. How can I apply for Emeritus membership?

If you are interested in Emeritus membership, please send us your CV and brief cover letter. The executive committee will review your application. Please note that each Emeritus member must be an IPNA Member for the preceding 10 years (minimum).

I would like to be involved more in IPNA and help out on a specific committee. How shall I proceed?

The IPNA Call for volunteers is usually published a minimum of every three year. However, calls for additional positions do go out when there is a need for additional support. You can always send an e-mail to the IPNA Office to inquire about current opportunities.

I’m not receiving the printed journals, who do I contact to fix this?

If you are experiencing problems receiving your journal, please contact the IPNA Administrative Office at office@theipna.org

How long after I apply or renew does it take for the journal to arrive?

Please allow 6 to 8 weeks for your first issue of Pediatric Nephrology and any back issues to arrive.

What is the journal subscription duration?

Membership goes from January through December. Depending on which subscription year you choose, you will receive the remaining months issues in the year you select and all back issues from that year.

Why did I receive back issues of the journal?

Please see the answer above: membership goes from January through December.
Thus, if you apply in August of 2017 for a 2017 subscription, you will receive all the back issues from 2017 (in this case January through August) with your September issue and the rest of the issues for 2017.
