Call for nominating IPNA Honorary Members and Awards 2024 -2025

Dear colleagues,

It is our pleasure to announce a call for nominating IPNA Honorary Members and Awards 2024 -2025 to be presented during the 20th IPNA Congress in Cape Town, South Africa, February 19-23, 2025.​

Candidates should be proposed by IPNA members to the IPNA council through the application forms and accompanied by a letter of support and the CV of the candidate. IPNA Awards Committee will rank candidates according to the pre-defined scoring system and will present results to the IPNA Council, which will make the final decision by a secret vote.

Deadline for submitting Awards candidates is August 1, 2024.

IPNA Ira Greifer Award recognizes individuals who exemplify IPNA’s mission and goals, have demonstrated local and/or national leadership to that end, and have made significant contributions to IPNA. Awardees will benefit from free registration at the next IPNA Congress, in addition to airfare and hotel fees for themselves and spouses. Nominate your candidate here.  

IPNA Lifetime achievement Award recognizes individuals who dedicated his/her life to develop pediatric nephrology in their region. Candidates should be proposed by the Regional Society. Awardees will benefit from free registration at the next IPNA Congress. Nominate your candidate here.  

IPNA Renée Habib Award recognizes young investigators with an outstanding record of achievement and creativity in basic or patient-oriented research related to the functions and diseases of the pediatric kidney. Awardees will benefit from free registration at the next IPNA Congress. Nominate your candidate here.

IPNA Award for Educational Activity recognizes individuals who provided outstanding educational contributions to Pediatric Nephrology. Awardees will benefit from free registration at the next IPNA Congress. Nominate your candidate here.

IPNA Honorary Membership will be provided to individuals who have retired and have made outstanding contributions to Pediatric Nephrology. IPNA Honorary Members are proposed by the Regional Societies and stay IPNA member without paying the membership fee. An Honorary Member shall pay no registration at the next IPNA congress.
