GREAT CARE FOR LITTLE KIDNEYS. EVERYWHERE.
Dear colleagues,
The World Kidney Day campaign has declared 2024 to be the year of “Kidney Health for All – Advancing equitable access to care and optimal medication practice”. The 2024 campaign will focus on raising awareness of the importance of ensuring equitable access to appropriate treatment and care for people living with kidney disease, in order to improve their quality of life and delay the progression of the disease.
IPNA organizes a WKD contest by providing USD 5000 to the pediatric nephrology center(s) from a developing country throughout the world to promote activities that allow the policymakers, health care services, governments, industry, as well as people living with kidney disease and their caregivers to visualize the inequities in access to diagnostic methods or treatments that help us to delay the progression of kidney disease and improve the quality of life of patients, try to find the origin of these inequities and propose strategies to overcome them.
We encourage you to apply and help us to reduce the inequality gap in the pediatric population with kidney diseases.
Learn more about the IPNA World Kidney Day Contest on the IPNA website HERE. The link for the online submission is placed there.
Deadline: February 14, 2024
Best wishes,
Florencio McCarthy
