IPNA Word Kidney Day Contest 2025 – Announcement

Dear Members,

Happy World Kidney Day!

We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who participated in the IPNA World Kidney Day Contest 2025 and contributed to its success! We received a total of 17 strong proposals.

Congratulations to Dr. Agathe Nkoy Bikupe (DR Congo) for her winning project: “World Kidney Day 2025: Increasing awareness and promoting early detection of pediatric kidney diseases in resource-limited settings: A focus on children with sickle cell anemia living in the DR Congo“
supported by 5,000 USD from IPNA.

Our WKD committee selected the winning projects based on their relevance, feasibility, and potential impact on people living with kidney disease, whose access to appropriate diagnostic services, treatment, and care is hindered.
