Dear colleagues,
On behalf of IPNA, the IPNA Honorary Members and IPNA Awards Committee is pleased to announce the winners of its 2022 IPNA Awards, which recognize outstanding contributions to pediatric nephrology and lifelong commitment to the profession.
IPNA will present the 2022 awards during the IPNA Awards Ceremony at the 19th IPNA Congress, which will take place in Calgary, Canada on Saturday, September 10 at 8,50 am. We welcome you all to join the ceremony. There will be a possibility to follow the ceremony online.
Renée Habib Young Investigator Award: Rahul Chanchlani
This award recognizes young investigators with an outstanding record of basic or patient-oriented research related to pediatric nephrology.
Ira Greifer Award: Isidro Salusky, Pierre Cochat
This award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated local and/or national leadership and have made significant contributions to IPNA.
Educational Award: Rezan Topaloglu
This award recognizes individuals for their considerable educational contribution to IPNA.
Life Time Achievement Award: Felicia Eke, Rajendra Srivastava
This award recognizes individuals who have dedicated their life to the development and improvement of Pediatric Nephrology care.
IPNA Humanitarian Award: Dmytro Ivanov
This award in this new category recognizes Dr. Ivanov for his outstanding contributions to pediatric nephrology in Ukraine during the devastating condition of war, shortage of drugs and medical supplies, leadership and dedication to his patients.
