IPNA World Kidney Day Award: Winning Projects

Dear members,

We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who participated in the IPNA World Kidney Day Contest 2026 and contributed to its success! We received a total of 10 strong proposals.

Congratulations to Dr. Neha Bhandari (India) for her winning project: “Project focusing on early detection, treatment, and green dialysis“.

Also, congratulations to Dr. Dmitro Ivanov (Ukraine) for his project: “Sustainable Kidney Screening and Education Network for Ukraine“.

Our WKD committee selected the winning projects based on their strong alignment with the 2026 World Kidney Day theme as well as their relevance, feasibility, and potential impact on people living with kidney disease, whose access to appropriate diagnostic services, treatment, and care is hindered.

Congratulations once again!

Ethwako Phiri, IPNA World Kidney Day CommitteeMaria Goretti-Penido and Isaac Ocheke, IPNA Special Projects Committee Chairs
