GREAT CARE FOR LITTLE KIDNEYS. EVERYWHERE.
Dear IPNA Members,
We are pleased to announce the results of the 2024 IPNA presidential election. Thank you to all members who participated in this important process.
A total of 581 votes were cast, and we extend our appreciation to both outstanding candidates for their dedication and willingness to serve our organization. The results are as follows:
Prof. Rukshana Shroff (UK): 337 votes
Dr. Melvin Bonilla – Felix (Puerto Rico): 242 votes
Abstain: 2 votes
With this outcome, we are delighted to confirm that Prof. Rukshana Shroff has been elected as the next IPNA President.
She will become part of the IPNA Council officially from January 1, 2025 and her term will begin in the autumn of 2025.
We also want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Melvin Bonilla-Felix for his candidacy and for his ongoing contributions to IPNA projects and activities.
Thank you for your support in this election. Together, we will keep strengthening IPNA and advancing pediatric nephrology worldwide.
