GREAT CARE FOR LITTLE KIDNEYS. EVERYWHERE.
IPNA Junior Empowerment and Mentorship (IPNA JEMs) Program Announcement
Second Edition – 2025-2027
Are you interested in career or project mentorship?
Are you willing to mentor an IPNA junior member and give back to our IPNA community?
We’re looking for IPNA members to participate in our IPNA JEMs Program! (2nd edition: 2025-2027)
Mentees: Are you an IPNA member interested in establishing or improving a clinical service and keen for support? Are you figuring out how to launch or boost a research career? Are you looking for career advice and guidance?
Mentors: Do you have a few hours to support the next generation of pediatric nephrologists worldwide? Can you share your knowledge and experience helping our junior members?
The second edition of the IPNA Junior Empowerment and Mentorship (IPNA JEMs) program will pair early-career pediatric nephrologists with IPNA mentors worldwide to help achieve the mentee’s goals.
IPNA JEM pairs will be for a two-year term, during which time mentors and mentees are expected to meet quarterly.
We seek volunteers interested in the IPNA JEMs Program—early-career pediatric nephrologists and supportive, available, and committed IPNA mentors.
Further details about the program can be found here. The deadline for expressions of interest closes on October 4, 2024, after which successful mentor-mentee pairs will be informed. This new program kicks off at the IPNA Congress in Cape Town.
Submit your expression of interest here!
Best wishes
