IPNA Congress Travel Grants

IPNA is excited to announce 25 exclusive travel grants for the upcoming IPNA 2027 Congress in Kyoto! This is your chance to expand your knowledge and network with experts in the field at a world-class international congress. Grant recipients will enjoy FREE registration for both the pre-congress and main congress sessions, and a generous allowance to assist with travel and accommodation expenses.

Eligibility:

Participation support is limited to attendees from developing and emerging countries, and is funded through donations collected specifically for this purpose.

Selection Criteria:

To be considered for support, the applicant must meet the following conditions:

• The participant is an active IPNA Member.
• The participant is actively involved in pediatric nephrology care in their country of origin.
• The participant has clearly articulated the anticipated benefits of Congress participation — to themselves, their institution, their country, and/or the field of pediatric nephrology.
• The participant will attend the IPNA 2027 Congress in person.

Application and selection process

• All interested applicants are invited to complete a travel grant application form that is available on the IPNA Congress website and here.
• Deadline to apply: September 15, 2026
• Candidates who have submitted an abstract will be prioritized
• Preference will be given to applicants who have not previously received this travel grant.
• Travel grant recipients will be selected based on the quality of their submitted abstracts, as evaluated by an international review panel.

Award

The Travel Grant award is:

– US$ 1,200 for applicants from within Asia

– US$ 1,500 for applicants from all regions outside Asia
