Draft IPNA 2026 Strategic Plan Goals and Strategies

IPNA Members – Following up on our email sent just after the Strategic Planning retreat in Prague, we indicated we would provide you with:

1. The PPT deck IPNA 2025 Data Summary that formed the foundation for the retreat (summarizing interviews and survey results)

2. The draft strategic plan and retreat notes (IPNA 2025 Retreat Notes) representing the draft of the proposed Goals and Strategies and deliberations from the meeting

So what happens now? The discussions and deliberations that took place over the two days created the foundation for how to refine our programs, communication, educational offerings and our governance in order to optimally serve our members and ultimately, the children we serve. However, we need your support and further input as to some of the best ways to achieve this. We also hope that many of you will want to play a key role in defining the Action items that will bring the plan to life.

In the next week, we will be sending you a brief 4-question survey that reflects the 4 Goals and respective Strategies in the draft plan. We will be asking for your comments, based on review of both the Data Summary and Retreat Notes and Plan, and your feedback about the goals and engagement to help accomplish the plan that will be key to our success.

Our Ask: Please review and reflect on the documents referenced in this email before taking the survey. These summarize the interviews and surveys as well as the notes from the Prague retreat, illustrating the pathway to the draft plan and reflecting the deliberations of the participants. When you receive the survey, please respond and provide your critical feedback on the Goals and Strategies.

We appreciate your ongoing commitment to IPNA and your trust in the present leadership (as well as your efforts to provide constructive feedback!). Thank you for being so generous with your opinions and insights. Results from this upcoming survey will be shared with the Strategic Plan Working Group and ultimately the committees assigned to the implement the strategies over the next 3 years. Results will also be posted in our website when the survey ends.
